Business Development

As Business Development Manager, I support the strategic direction of the business, delivering significant personal sales, and carrying out marketing and client management activities.

Regarding the role of BPM Evangelist within Enterprise Concept, the main goal is to contribute to the awareness of a new concept on the Romanian business market: the business process management, a powerful combination between business and IT methods, tools and technologies with features of an art.

EPM – Enterprise Performance Management is another business direction that I develop, based on an outstanding partnership of Enterprise Concept with Oracle, the EPM technology leader on the local market (with the Hyperion suite) and Horvath & Partners, a leader in the field of consulting services in Controlling (Advanced Budgeting and other modern concepts for increasing enterprise performance).

The scope of this partnership is to assure the complete logistics (top technology, advanced methodology, analysis and implementation expertize) for the delivery of complex solutions for the imporvement of different areas in EPM & Controlling. My role is to organize the resources shared in this partnership into a Business Plan and to actively participate to its implementation, especially by strategic sales activities.

Business Evaluation Experience

Financial Audit Projects (Deloitte Audit SRL)
The scope of a financial audit project is to provide a proper understanding of the audited entity’s financial records. During the three main phases of each audit project - data collection, data analysis and reporting – I performed the following: 

Collect data from various departments of the audited entity, by using appropriate questioning techniques, in order to obtain the big picture of the business.

Analyse the information obtained from different sources, using audit procedures, but also professional judgment in order to verify the accuracy, validity and completeness of the financial records.

Provide a concise report (graphics, tables, data interpretation) of the understanding obtained in order to be used by certified auditors to elaborate the opinion on the entity’s financial statements.

I participated in audit projects for companies from various sectors, such as energy, retail, manufacturing, hospitality or real estate. It allowed me to assimilate financial audit procedures and financial knowledge, but also professional judgment in assessing business processes as well as a deep understanding of above mentioned economic fields.

University Studies -Economic Cybernetics (Academy of Economic Studies, Bucharest)
Studying Economic Cybernetics, I developed a deep economic knowledge and understanding, as well as strong analytical and research skills, useful in any evaluation and decision making process.

Business Intelligence Knowledge

Business Objects XI (BRD Finance IFN SA)
The use of this BI tool involves query (SQL), reporting, and analysis.
Its scope is to help executive managers to make effective, informed decisions based on solid data and analysis of the business performance.

Working with a BI tool, enabled me to learn about managing business performance. I also learned to design databases in order to make data accessible and relevant  (Business Objects XI Universe Design Certification).

Strategic Selling Knowledge

Miller Heiman Strategic Selling Methodology (Enterprise Concept)
During this course I learned how to manage complex sales. I also developed market analysis skills, research techniques and I have initiated a continuous personal development program, vital for any top closer.

Communication and Relationship Development Skills

During the data collection phase of audit projects, I had to communicate with representatives from various departments in an efficient manner in order to obtain relevant information in short time. I learned about the art of  conversation and I gained the ability of developing profesional relationships.
I also experienced constant change, each week meaning a new project and a new team. I had to be adaptive and to quickly develop an efficient and pleasant working environment.


Erasmus Scholarship  (University of Orleans, France)
This was a period of important changes, from the lifestyle to the way of thinking.
It had a tremendous impact on my personal development for several reasons:
- it happened in a period in which people in general are defining their personality (second year of studies),
- it was a challenge to live during eight moths away from my family, my friends and my country,
- it gave me the opportunity to be part of a community of students of various nationalities.
In addition to all the above reasons, the simple fact of living in France, a Western European country quite different from my own, was a complex experience. I gained, among others, the ease of adaptation to change and the ability to develop relationships.
